Strategy → Architecture → Implementation → Program Management → Vendor Management
Typically in the 1st engagement CDRU will bring all of the above together using a number of CDRU Business Case Templates.
How we deliver
CDRU applies a proprietary method that integrates the areas of strategy, procurement and implementation in one business case assessment.
Step 1: Current State assessment of the enterprise and interrelated core infrastructure across storage, server and desktop, voice and data networks, as well as applications and middleware.
Step 2: Financial assessment across operational, capital and staffing budgets. Business Value analysis and Application Portfolio Management approach. Accurate analysis of complex cost structures like telecommunications through proprietary CDRU Bill Management software service.
Step 3: Define ‘future state’ operating models and technology options, including the development of infrastructure roadmaps that are best practice whilst reflecting the latest market conditions and vendor offerings.
Step 4: Identify Business Case opportunities that can be implemented within agreed commercial terms on a fixed fee or fee for success basis. CDRU ensures strategic alignment with business needs and expected board and executive outcomes by delivering services this way.
In a highly specialised, fast moving market that is characterised on the one hand by vendor consolidation and on the other hand by rapid emergence of new technology deployment and usage models (e.g. cloud computing), the speed of technology advancement can make it challenging to balance 'traditional' and proven strategies with the opportunities for cost reduction and productivity improvements presented by emerging technology models.
In this environment CDRU works with large organisations to identify Business Cases that will deliver measurable and sustainable “cost down” outcomes while meeting business needs for growth and agility.
